Unreal you frickers still have a chance at the playoffs

Only explanation is we both have 2 losses but uf has head to head so they left them ahead of us.
They should be 9 behind us and cincinnati imo. You can't lose to a shite team at home and only drop 1

I’m completely blown away and flabbergasted by this

That "chance" is having to beat bama. Which isn't happening.

So if Florida were to win they can still get in perhaps

This should be the nail in the coffin for the committee. They aren't even trying to hide how straight up biased they are at this point.

To be fair, FLA has only lost by a whopping combined total of 6 points.

This. Cant leave the SEC champ out and allow in an Ohio State team that has played only a few games. If they lose to Bama, they will free fall.

I think fla deserves to get in if they beat bama
That would be the best win of any of the playoff teams to have on resume and they did play 10 games and winning sec should mean something
Bama has backed in several times over the years

The committee has been dead on 100% correct every year. The season didn't end yesterday in case you forgot...these rankings will change between now and bowl season. Florida isn't making the playoffs so who cares if they are 7th or 9th? It doesn't matter

I feel like they’re doing it to keep the money makers in the NY6 line up. This would include FLA. A loss to the #1 team won’t drop them too far for a NY6 appearance.

The committee couldn’t justify putting Georgia ahead of UF.
Which is dumb because Georgia is a completely different team now. They just beat a Top 25 team by 35 points on the road. Florida lost to a 3-5 team at home.

Doesn't change a thing. It may help Bama's case but Bama clearly doesn't need anymore help.

Also Iowa State at #6 having a shot at making the playoff is just as bad. They have two losses and got blown the frick out at home by ULaLa. How the hell is that a "quality loss" if a school like Cincinnati can be in a better conference than the Cajuns, be undefeated, and stuck at #9? Either a loss to a G5 team should be disqualifying which would explain why Cincy can't rise any higher or Cincy should have a real shot at the playoff. To have any real credibility they can't have it both ways.

“Different team” argument doesn’t apply until next season. Fact is, wins and losses this season matter.
