The quote above comes from the South Carolina 247 board but I like seeing Danny squash it immediately. It does seem odd that he would just be tweeting last night about his kid being a big Hog fan and then bolt 24-48 hours later.

3 different SC guys have now said this all this morning too, so Danny is just being Danny and clueless it sounds like. Arkansas media clueless as usual. Hopefully he stays and/or gets a raise.
Sounds a lot more like an ESD thing so Arkansas denying until after, while SC has a ton of prominent media members from outside of just 247 also confirming there has been talk and interest from both sides.

Trey just posted that it’s not happening. Reading between the lines, it sound like they’ve talked to Stepp himself. That doesn’t mean Stepp could be lying to them though. It wouldn’t be the first time that it’s happened.

It's entirely possible Stepp is just taking the high road and waiting until after signing day to acknowledge anything. Which I appreciate.
