I’m not a football coach. I’ve never played QB.
Why can I see that when the kid sets his feet and delivers the ball, that good things happen? When the kid doesn’t set his feet, bad things happen.
We pay Gus and Chad a lot of money. Either they can’t see what I see or they have the wrong kid playing QB or they can’t fricking coach.

Who the hell are you going to put at QB?
Do you honestly think he is coached to leave the pocket early? Do you think he is coached to fade away as he throws?
His Dad is a QB. Bo has the worst mechanics of any starting QB I have ever seen. Maybe we should fire his Dad?

I'm starting to think that the setting the feet thing is a Bo problem, and Bo alone.
It's obvious. No way it hasn't been brought up in practice and film sessions.
Yet he's the only QB we've had this issue with.

I played the position. My Junior year 0-9-1 ran for my life all the time. Two schools combined....suddenly had an offensive line that could block. Got a QB Coach from West Point.
First time with happy feet in a scrimmage ....he yells for the offense to stop. He took a rope and tied my feet together with enough slack to step. "When you keep your feet still the rope comes off. Until then, get used to the rope."
By the way, Senior year undefeated, Far East Champions.
