Saban admits again leaving LSU was a mistake

I'll ask you the same question I asked Tommy Tuberville earlier this week. How would you characterize your relationship with him?
NS: I like Tommy. I don't have any problem with Tommy. He's done a helluva job there. He's a good coach. He was one year ahead of me when I was at LSU, and we had some hellacious games then. I think they've got a little better players than we have right now, but we've just got to keep working at it.
What about Tuberville's dig that you'd be in Washington next year?
NS: I can't. I'm still under contract at Miami (smiling and shaking his head). He needs to come up with a better one than that.
So that means, as you stated with conviction back in the spring, that you're at Alabama to stay.
NS: I ain't leaving, I might retire, but I'm not leaving this place for anywhere else. The worst decision I ever made was leaving LSU and not just because it was LSU. I wasn't happy [in the NFL]. That wasn't for me. I'm happy here, and this is where I'm going to stay.

"I WILL NOT BE THE HEAD COACH AT WASHINGTON"

It sounds to me like he really is miserable at Bammer, also he looks like a raggedy man, oh well he has to sleep in the bed he made. I think it will be bad for him if they look bad and lose to Clemson

He's miserable. He was miserable in Miami and took the money and ran. Does that ever work?
I was at the book store yesterday and came across his book which has his picture on it in a Bama coaches shirt. It's obvious he's marketing it to the Gumps, and it's all about his success at LSU and before. If he would have stayed at LSU his book would probably be a national best seller. Now it's just a best seller in Gumpland.
I read the chapter about LSU and winning the NC. I was amazed but not surprised with how clinical Saban's process to coaching is without emotion. Miles is so much more engaging with his coaches and players. Saban's a burnout in 5 years or less.

Bammers physically cannot read and comprehend this, it's like garlic to vampires.

I don't think anyone at Alabama believes he left LSU because he didn't like LSU. I don't think anyone here has any misconceptions.
I do think it's funny that you edited the quote to leave out the words, "and not just because its LSU", and then question anyone else's comprehension skills.

It's not beneficial to their flamery. Leaving the college game was the mistake.

Why isn't it beneficial? It's nothing but complimentary for LSU. That clause doesn't mean what you think it means.

That is in the original post right up top, wtf are you Gumps talking about?
Unless I miss something, when you edit a post, it shows it as edited and his does not show that

He's talking about the LSU posters ignoring the "not just because it was LSU."

We're not ignoring, we fully realize saban had to tack that on to cover himself in Gumpland

Exactly, if the LSU posters had some comprehension skills they say the Alabama posters are missing, they would realize Saban is saying that leaving the college game was the mistake.

Actually I agree with this but
why didn't he just say THAT then instead of even mentioning LSU.
Again, some Tards hate the guy, I don't care one way or another. He made his bed, now he has to see if he can turn a futon into a Cali King. But why mention LSU if he meant "the college game" then he should have said that, I know I would have

Its not like it was a prepared speech or something, he was giving an interview and was asked a question and he answered it. What is the big deal here? There is no issue here.

His quote doesn't say that at all. Why didn't he simply say "leaving the college game was a mistake"? He could have. The final clause is a compliment to LSU, not a detraction. It doesn't mean what most of the posters in this thread think it does.

How many times are we going to have this same conversation.....
......the same points and counterpoints continuously recycled, with the end result always the same.
