Mike Leach is going to be a terror at Moo State.

He will never win a championship, but he will frick up other team's seasons and win 7-8 games a year.

I think he will have a tenure similar to Mullen there, except it will end horribly instead of him taking a better job.

And some of those many of us thought were no brainers to be successful.

Harbaugh, Herman, Frost...

And Sumlin is going down fast it seems...

I thought Gus would be higher...

I disagree. I think he can win the west there. He has already pulled a big QB recruit out of TX. He just needs to lockdown those MS lineman and he will flourish.

Don't know about "flourish" but I think he will be pretty solid (ahem) once he gets his guys in there. And unlike Gustav, kids with NFL aspirations will want to play for him.

He'll be 60 next spring, Starkville is almost certainly his last stop. I can see him coaching there for another 7-8 years and winning more than enough to keep the boosters happy, while providing plenty of entertainment for the rest of the league (so long as his mouth doesn't get him in trouble, which is always a possibility).
