Practiced, but don’t think his pain tolerance is sufficient for playing.

I think he traveled though. Can’t seem to get confirmation on that anywhere

From what I've read/heard, he did not make the trip. Sounding like there is a chance that he will separate with the team. Internet rumors are just that, so grain of salt and all that jazz.

On one hand, the kid is clearly immature and makes bad decisions. His poor blocking efforts have been noted at times this season, which we all know won't endear him with Kirby.

On the other hand, Kirby does himself no favors with his approach on offense. Every other team seems to find ways to ensure their stars are key contributors and heavily involved in the gameplan. Kirby is seemingly so afraid of turnovers that he allows teams to take away his weapons on the outside if push comes to shove. Even if we give him a pass on the Fields situation (it's been discussed ad nauseum), if he believes Stet is his guy, you have to find ways for him to still drive a competent passing game in 2020. If we can't do that, I'd rather see a shaky Mathis who at least gives an edge in the run game or a freshman Beck get a real shot.

Maybe Kirby makes me look like an idiot this weekend... If so, happy to concede that I was wrong, but Pickens attitude problems are exacerbated by Kirby's stubbornness.
