If Bennett throws 2-3 picks against UF and lose can we please try another option at QB?

Thanks...hopefully, its not a Faton Bauta experiment replay on Saturday.

He threw 3 interceptions against Bama and 2 against Kentucky. Kirby won't bench him.

I say one and done on Saturday.

I concur.
Season will be over if we lose tommorow...it's all or nothing

At that point, why not. Season is over, start getting people reps for next season.
As to whether or not we lose, it depends how we lose. Are they just gashing us all day with the run because of injuries on the DL, but offense is doing ok? Does kicker miss three chip shots? Do we have special teams frickups that contribute to our loss? I won't say this is a must-win for stet, but if we lose because of stet, I will agree with his haters at that point. 3 strikes and you're out.

I was told on this board that this is bad because we need to win as many games as possible now and Bennett gives us the best chance to do that.

I think we should be getting ready for next season. Realistically, the ceiling on this season is loss in SECCG and New Years 6.

Glad you weren't around during wwII as the old vent would say, You would give up when the Germans Bombed Pearl Harbor.

You have a pretty good background for qbs. What would you coach Bennett up on just from watching him in games. Obviously he can't grow taller but what mechanics does he need to improve his game.

If he throws a pick in the first quarter I want to see a new QB

Waiting on Daniels to be cleared or BVG to get enrolled.
What is wrong with Stetson, more what is right, he understands the offense and largely makes good decisions for the actual amount of playing time he has had in a system that is new for everyone. His positives, are execution and for the grief he takes, several of his tos had mitigating circumstances, batted, tipped, wr broke wrong. Still his fault but their has only been one really dumb throw vs bama. Happens.
My actual take what he does right and wrong is: he does not have a feel for his own height disadvantage, Mayfield, Murray, Brees, have balls batted down but they are better at stepping up in the pocket, side stepping a rushing lane, or taking a deeper drop on certain plays. Sometimes it's as simple as putting more air under a ball or a Tebow era Jump pass that we ran a lot growing up. I mean Tebow had to jump to get the ball over the los. He is also off on many throws that slow wrs down or cause them to fall down.
Stet' has lazy foot work, he throws a nice flick/dart between 7-25 yds. Pure arm strength helps him but several of his long throws had no weight transfer forward, threw off backfoot sometimes in the pocket sometime on the run. That said, I will take a long underthrow completion over an overthrown incompletion.
He has poor timing with his wrs and it has further been hurt by not adjusting for getting the ball over the los. It has hurt his confidence. Repetition and confidence fixes that.
Leadership. It is tough as he obviously has the respect of his teammates. But given his obvious disadvantages. It's hard for him to go full Manzell on the team when the offense his fing up in general. Just jump the oline, backs and wrs asses when they frick up. We are missing energy on offense.
Why I don't won't to see others in at this point.... I don't want a further clouded picture for BVG other than Daniels early next year. Unless Daniels decides he wants to play this year.
Beck, I think we lived up to a commitment after he had a bad senior year. Covid hurt his progress.
Mathis, to me there are so many issues. Brain surgery, he did not play qb a lot in HS and was a late bloomer, his arm that I have seen is inaccurate but maybe it was a bad day. He made poor decisions trying to throw the ball when he has track speed and green grass in front of him. He should have had 100 yds rushing vs Arkansas. That would have changed things greatly for him.
Daniels is the stop gap but he has to want to play and be ready to play.
Stet' should be remembered for saving our arse not negatively. Newman supposedly having contact with an agent was just dumb, I don't see a future for him in the nfl beyond scout team. It is really fing hard to be an NFL qb...
I frankly want BVG annoited early next fall and no more stupid qb issues and distractions. We are also going to have to shut up and let him make his freshman mistakes.
Fromm fricked us more than fields. We would be unbeaten with fromm and Fromm may have actually improved his nfl stock.
We have to recruit better at Tailback and wrs. Not just recruiting rankings but performance. We should have gotten Bigsby.
