There were a couple plays that if he cut a different direction he gets big chunks instead of 5.

Not directing this at you, per se, but at all that questions the vision of Zamir.

When you are on the field things are happening in a split second and it is impossible to see every hole and opportunity. When we are watching from camera angles above the action it is 100X easier to see things open up and change than it is at field level where your vision may be blocked by other players and/or referees.

From what I have seen of Zamir his vision is excellent. he changes direction and goes to the hole more often than not.

Remember...nobody is going to see 100% of everything or have time to make a change.

Is he a perfect back? No. My feeling is he lacks breakaway speed and prefers running over people rather than going around. Don't get me wrong, he can and has made cuts to try to get to open field....he seems to prefer to use his strength and power to make yards. When you need 3-5 yards the fastest and most effective way is a straight line. Personally I hate to see RBs that give up a first down to try to make an additional five. Cook does this a lot....although I have seen definite improvement in Cook with his power.

He's got far more additional yardage from his cuts than he's lost.

Someone yesterday said he did this repeatedly...which simply isn't correct.
