Any of you posters still think Jeremy Pruitt should be on the short list?

Couldn't even get his players up for the Mildcats.
We have an analyst who beat UGA and UK in his 3rd year at Tennessee.

To replace Golding? Absolutely.

Solid troll. And then Saint claps back.

Pruitt is an excellent DC. He didn't have the HC experience or chops for that job, especially with it being a total rebuild with no "built-in" recruiting advantages.

Pruitt (.514) now has a lower win percentage at Tennessee than Butch Jones (.557).

Anybody watching Arkansas shutting out Ole Miss. Guess what? The razorbacks are running dime instead of nickel. They are putting 3 safeties on the defense, lining an extra safety all over the field, and bringing him up at times to control the run. They are jumping routes and creating havoc with 2 interceptions and sacking Corral because he can't find open receivers. The defense is essentially dictating the pace.
Scheme, scheme, scheme, scheme, scheme. Damn it.

Why should you? I mean, he's only had multiple NCs and the next closest thing to a dynasty after Alabama. Why the hell would any of us want him?
Guys like this always crack me up.

Personally, I think he's a goober that lucked into the perfect situation. I doubt he can recreate it anywhere else.

This is downright comical. Clemson was a shitshow when he took over 12 years ago and turned it into as close to a dynasty as anyone other than Alabama.
You do recall it's been 12 years, right? 12 fricking years. You don't luck into excellence for 12 years running.
I'd like to think you do football better than this. I don't give a shite if he's a goober if he's always winning conference championships and in the CFP every year. You shouldn't either.

I'm rooting on the vols to suck so that he can be our DC again

Dabo's asking price would high risk, imo. Plus, I doubt he would consider it.

I’m sure Pruitt will give us his best shot next week, I hope Bama prepares adequately and that it’s not another Ole Miss game.

I just hope they start Guarantano.

Maybe JG will return for his extra year of eligibility.

I lived in South Carolina for over 15 years. Trust me if he can win at Clempson, he can win anywhere else.

This is why I don't get the "Dabo got lucky at Clemson" take.
Larry Coker, Chiz, possibly Ed O are examples of what happens when the stars align for mediocre coaches. The stars don't align for over a decade straight - that's a guy that knows how to do the job.
It's OK not to like Dabo, I get that his style can be off-putting (heck, Saban's can be to some people too) but it's beyond ridiculous not to acknowledge the success he's had.
