If the game even happens at all now, would be the most Georgia thing to do...win and Kirby still not get to count it as the first assistant to beat Saban.

frick. Hope he pulls through okay. That being said, I'd rather have the game postponed than play without him coaching on the sidelines. I don't want any excuses when the Dawgs finally break through that wall and beat bama.

Tbh, I’d rather beat them and have them make excuses than lose to them

Screw that, the more postponed games the closer to the season being cancelled. Play the fricking games with what you got.

Saw where Kiffin said yesterday/today OM was dealing with a COVID outbreak. Clearly where it started. Wonder how many players might be affected.

As Drago said, if he dies, he dies.

Well it is what it is. They’ll get their redemption in December.

According to someone inside the program Steve Sarkisian will be the acting head coach on Saturday.

Assuming, of course, they game isn't cancelled.

I get what you're saying, but I'm operating under the assumption that we win with him there or not, either way, and that I'd rather have the win with his sour-puss face on the sidelines!

That would be awesome, screw with his play calling. Hell, I would have made Butch the HC and left my coordinators to their own.

Not directing this at you specifically, because people have been saying thing as long as I've been alive about [insert opponent at the time], but this is the most unfathomably stupid take I can imagine. Beyond imagination actually. It's about one of the dumbest things you can possible think in a situation like this.

Should we lose (like we often do in these "I sure hope they're at full strength!" games) do you feel better about yourself or have some kind of high ground because we lost at full strength? When we beat teams that have guys injured do you sulk the next day because they weren't at their best?

A win is a fricking win, and 20 years from now the record books aren't going to have an asterisk by the game denoting that a coach was sick during it.

If it's just 1 coach that's affected (with no symptoms mind you) I don't see any justifiable reason to postpone or cancel unless the NCAA is just scared of the optics of it being the golden child.

not sure if you've paid attention the last 12 years but assuming a win over alabama (on the road at that) is...a big optimistic.

Oh shite.

Is this shaping up to be some type of bizarro Hoosiers scenario where they beat us late in the 4th Qtr with Saban cheering on from his hospital bed?

Kill me now.
