After the weekend I think the BIG12 disbanding is imminent

How does that conference survive if OU and Texas don't get ANY respect anymore. They better hope the playoff expands or that conference is toast.

Who does the SEC pick up? I say Oklahoma and West Virginia.

It is unlikely the RR Shootout gets the same high ratings it would if the teams were better. Fair Park will be a ghost town and it's the last premier matchup of the season for the B12. In early October no less. Fox has to be shitting itself.

I wish. Sankey will probably hold out to try and get some lame teams from the ACC like NC and Virginia

OU/aTm, OU/LSU, and OU/Bama would draw much bigger crowds.

OU and Texas would be huge

Those pussies are still making up horror stories about how bad LSU fans were in 2004

What are you doing? None of those are worthy in our conference when dealing with T.V. market! Reason Missouri got in was football was okay but wanted the T.V. market. Just right location for the SEC. I think we stop at 14 since it is getting out of control already.

LSU owns OU just like they do the Aggies.

If you think the Big XII is in trouble wait until the Pac 12 loses $1B due to screwing up playing.

I think OU wants the SEC, Texas does not.
OU Ok St to SEC and Texas and ND (full member) to ACC could realistically happen. First two leagues to 16.
SEC
Missouri
Arkansas
Oklahoma
Oklahoma St
Texas A&M
LSU
Mississippi
Mississippi St
Alabama
Auburn
Tennessee
Vanderbilt
Kentucky
South Carolina
Georgia
Florida
ACC
Virginia
North Carolina
NC State
Duke
Clemson
Georgia Tech
Florida St
Texas
Notre Dame
Pittsburgh
Syracuse
Boston College
Virginia Tech
Wake Forest
Louisville
Miami (FL)

Then we could have 4 small divisions and a bracket for the SECCG . West: Arkansas, OSU, aTm, LSU. South: State, Ole Miss, Bama, Auburn. North: Missouri, Vanderbilt, OU, UTK. East: UGA, UF, USCjr, Kentucky

Last time around Texas purely negotiated with 2 conferences, Pac 12 and Big 10. Both because academics. Pac 12 was preferred because they'd allow the Longhorn Network to go on as it is which then was a huge deal to Texas. Not sure how they broker it now with the LHN not really being a success. Do however believe the PAC, if it even withstands the inevitable super conference shift, is the one most likely to give in to all of Texas' demands because they're so strapped financially. With Texas though the Big 10 would significantly raise their value to tv networks. Don't see the ACC being a factor.
3 conferences are pretty easy to diagnose and fathom happening. How the west and big 12 blend would be most interesting as it would clearly be the weakest of the conferences. ND would be a major factor as they'd have to decide what's more important, exclusivity/independence the ACC would likely allow or the big 10 rivalries.
SEC would obviously prefer Oklahoma even over Texas imo but would gladly take both I'd guess. Problem is Texas is very unlikely to want the SEC because of their perceived elitism academically and morally(it's bullshite). Qualm would be who the 2nd school would be. I'd prefer TCU(dallas/ft worth) but some may prefer to continue with the Kansas/Missouri market. Okie St only makes sense for their rivalry with Oklahoma which may be the dealmaker as it would make sense to play conference games only. Those intraconference rivalries are likely to be the biggest arguing points against superconferences. Definitely would be interesting to watch play out.

frick this. It’s a cakewalk for LSU, but give me the rivalry games with MS/AL schools.

I'm sure Bama says this about the west every year.
