What an unbelievable win for State last night. Hats off, bullies. You can't not like Leach. He's 3-steps ahead of the next guy in game planning. He's gives zero fricks about any other teams traditions or talent or whatever historical advantage they have and he just balls. Mad respect.

I’m patiently waiting for the thread bumps that we were promised were going to occur this morning!

He out coached Orgeron and Pelini yesterday. That’s what has to burn LSU fans.

“We are better than them everywhere”
“Our third string could beat State”

Pelini coached like he believed that yesterday. Kept running man and kept getting torched.

State only ran the ball 10 times because LSU gave them the look they wanted every play.

Someone in the game thread yesterday started calling for corner blitzes.

For those of you who don't get the meme below, it's in reference to his after game locker room speech while he was at Texas Tech.

I didn’t even realize LSU had hired douchelord Pelini until yesterday and it made it all the sweeter

Eight pages of prediction thread on the Tiger Rant and only one had State staying within one score.

Y’all deserve this. You asked for it. We warned you what was coming.

LSU ain't DBO. Coach O is Coach Zero. Leach is real fun.

Leach took part in karaoke, singing the sweet tunes of Jethro Tull’s “Nothing Is Easy.” The only reason he partook, he claims, is that there were three people in the bar, including the bartender, and no one knew who in the heck he was.

“I should have said ‘I’m Joey Freshwater,’” Leach laughs,

That is a quote from the SI article someone linked on the Scoreboard. That is one of the best things I've ever heard a head coach say . His on the field coaching aside, I'm so glad this dude is in the SEC now. There has been a serious lack of characters since Spurrier and Leslie Miles left the league. Now we have one of the GOATs on on the mic again.

I think Kevin Steele will have a good plan for State but I do not look forward to facing them. The very art of throwing a pass gives the offense an inherent advantage if the QB has the confidence to make the throws and the scheme is such that it creates just a small crack in the coverage. Leach must preach that because that State QB was threading the needle on some of those crossing routes yesterday like I've never seen before. It was really something to watch.

I’m pretty sure it was said on college gameday that our second string could beat state and that we simply were the better team....majorrrr cringe

Leach and Spurrier in the same conference would’ve been a hoot!

And Leach’s offense will pile up stats that will not curl until it soars past the moon!

As for Leach’s impact on MSU’s power rankings within the SEC: meh

The only reason Leach would not have an impact on State’s power ranking within the SEC is if he left after this year. You’re kidding yourself if you don’t think he’s going to elevate the program. I don’t expect to win a national title but he will raise the bar.

I was thinking that MSU Defense would be a train wreck as a result of Leach's philosophy, but I have to say that the open field tackling last night was pretty impressive. And they were able to get pressure on Brennan at several key times.

I’ll settle for Leach and Spurrier Jr. on the same sideline.

Some of us tried to tell LSU it was gonna be different this time. But with all the shite they talked last week in the lead up to this game....they need and deserve to catch hell all week.

And if they start in with all time record smack, then they deserve it even more.

Yeah, we’re 7 points away from this being 5-2 State in the last 7 years. They don’t want to admit how close the series has been lately. So they bring up Croom years

I was fully expecting our defense to get torched. Brennan was not good but his receivers also had a lot of key drops. I’m just glad our guys are in shape and playing hard. Moorhead was a disgrace in those areas. A receiver of ours postgame said that the LSU db’s were telling them how tired they were during the game. I knew that would be Leach’s strategy. He runs the dog shite out of his receivers (8 to 9 miles a day at practice) and they run all of those vertical routes early to wear the defense out.
