I want to see what he does with better QB play and receivers that can get separation. And what Wilks can do with a full year of his system in the books.

If we're honest, this was the first full year of the rebuild. Just me, I don't think anything meaningful could be taken from 2020. Next year should be interesting, but I still think, and have said all along, that 2023 is when we really find out what we've got.

Agree 100%

I’m not sure what magical play calls people think would be effective with a arse QB who can’t move. That’s severely limiting to any playbook. Not to mention that our WR room was pretty damn average as well. The only standout player we had on offense was Badie, and he made it a priority to get him the ball as much as possible as he should have.

If you look before Bazelak completely melted down we were in the top 30 in total offense.

Our receivers have been below average for years.

Where I think most of us fault Drink is by not developing a second potenial running threat from the quarterback position (aka Macon or Cook) for defenses to have to account for.

That it took him until the bowl game to make the switch was embarrassingly awful.

That is definitely a warranted criticism

Quit whining! Drink isn't beyond being criticized, because of your hate for CM. CM has made his own bed this year and Drink stinks at play calling and his personnel moves make you wonder sometimes.(Quit trying to make him your hero and remember he will be criticized when warranted)

Chill out dude, because nobody is talking about firing him.Don't forget Arky, Ole Miss and Mississippi St. all changed coaches the same year as Mizzou and all those programs are now ahead of us and better teams.

Have you compared other rosters to Mizzou? Mizzou has the worst roster of the ones you mention!

Arky and Miss St. both finished under .500 and Mizzou barely beat Arky and got hammered by a bad Miss St. team. Ole Miss finished with a 5-5 record just like Mizzou. Mizzou beat Kentucky(Stoops was already their coach) pretty good who finished 4-6. All those teams recruited players that helped them last year and they bettered their teams by finding awesome talent that fit their systems in the transfer portal.

I'm pulling for Drink, but he needs to hire an offensive coordinator and be a delegator.

You need to understand how to compete against teams that have better roster than Mizzou! Only way to compete against those that have higher * ratings than Mizzou is to recruit at the same level or close to it. Drinkwitz is now getting that 4* and 5* recruits. He will need to continue to do that from now on and it will take a couple more recruiting classes in order to fill up any gaps and get good backups and depth. Give him time to build the football program. It isn't going to take 2 years to turn the football roster around with 4* and 5*, and some 3* recruits. You need to let him do his thing and give him 4 years to get it done. Odom got 5 years and he didn't recruit better players that could compete against other SEC teams. It takes time to replace the roster and he is doing it his way with 4 years to do it. If you do not get that part, then you need to stop typing on here about it right now!
Also, he has been a HC for 3 years now. You got to let him do his way and wait and see after 4 years and you can decide by then. It isn't now and will not be next year either. He should have a better team next year.

What the doo doo are you talking about? Are you saying that Arky and Kentucky had a better rosters than Mizzou last year?(2020) During the off season those coaches made their rosters better and Drink had the same opportunity.

So...you are telling me that Drink needs a few more years to get his players in as where Arky, Kentucky, Ole Miss and Miss St. coaches did it after one year?

This again is about Drink being the head coach and not the OC. Again...this isn't about firing Drink! Goodnes!!!

We offered Ivan Pace Jr a transfer LB from Miami(OH)

He was first team All MAC. 125 tackles, 13 for loss and 4 sacks. As a freshman he tied a NCAA record with 6 sacks in one game.

His brother is a LB at Cincy though

We needed the DT depth badly and to add a guy of this quality is knocking it out of the park. This is HUGE

A rotation of him, wingo, Robinson, and glacial could be legit.

For sure. I’d still like to add another DT though.

Honestly after seeing Wingo this year, if Jernigan is as good as it is reading, we dont need another DT. Wingo, Jernigan and Gracial would be our core for the next 3 years. Just maybe add one DT every year after that and keep a nice rotation.

Injuries…

You’re probably gonna play 6-7 DT in any given year.

We only have 6 scholarship guys right now and one of them is going to be a 250-270 lb true freshman
