Tired of posting this , but the reality is that most people outside of Louisiana are biased as it relates to O. ESPN ran an entire segment where every personality made fun of his accent. USC openly stated that they didn’t hire him because of the way he spoke and they felt he would have a hard time relating to their alumni. The Hotty Toddy folks of the delta high society openly mocked him. Many other media folks mocked him last year as the Tigers made their run, insinuating that O didn’t have anything to do with the success bc he is dumb. There are no less than 10 posts on this board per day that insinuate that he is stupid. Despite all of it , he grins and takes it. He never complains about people’s perception of him or otherwise cries out for social justice. Neither do the Cajun people of this state. Forde has always a been a pompous arse. I am sure he is a card carrying member of the kick everything down crowd.

I am pretty sure that most people in the southeast like coach O.

I never thought Ogeron was stupid. You can't run a big time program like LSU and then get to the top of the mountain being dumb

Not only grins and takes it but goes out and proves it wrong. He does talk funny. He probably wasn't a good fit in SoCal....but he is in the perfect spot in Red Stick where he isn't amongst the snotty blue blood aristocracy of the south like he would be at other places in the SEC. Wish it weren't true and LSU would run him out of town on a rail (only from a football perspective, as a human being I am pulling for Coach O) but it is obvious that he is, at this point in time, at the right place and all of the negative shite being said will only make him and the program more committed to proving themselves to themselves. I don't like Coach O because he ha whupped UGA like a dog...but outside of that the man seems genuinely likeable and there is litte doubt he has taken some serious lemons and made lemonade....thats admirable, even if he has whupped UGA like a dog.
