It’s just getting started

So why does the athletic department want to keep the two investigations separate? The short answer is that combining the two cases for the panel to decide, if found guilty, would increase the ability for the NCAA to file "lack of institutional control" charges against the university.

Shouldn’t you boys try to have two consecutive practices before talking shite.

Auburn is burning right now....with freakin Covid 19. And quit sending those kids home. You are killing Baldwin County, 3 of major high schools can’t play this week.

As the scope of the investigation widens and deepens on the bayou, it is the typical response of “deny, deflect, dodge, and defend.”

Very telling that many are already in the foxholes ready to defend at all costs.

Hard to deny the truth when there is so much direct evidence of malfeasance.
Impossible to deflect major sports writers who just want the truth.
The charges are flying so fast that to dodge one fact is to run right into the next.

Defending embezzlement of a children’s charity, dehumanizing amateur athletics into essentially a human trafficking operation requires setting aside real principles.

The Corndogs are paying the price for blatantly breaking the rules of both the NCAA and common decency.

Tut's response is "yeah, but Auburn has more covid".

Auburn probably does have more players with covid. However, since Auburn now has more players than LSU, it's probably about even per capita.

The classic deflection that all criminal types flow right to when the heat is on.

LSU fans better understand, “God be not mocked!”

Hypothetically, what schools would Sankey look at as replacements for LSU if the NCAA decides the death penalty has to be applied?

It’s early in the investigation, but we’ve already confirmed embezzlement of a charity, cash payments directly to players, no show jobs for player relatives, accusations of rape, and on and on and on.

LSU is what every lawyer dreams of: a client with a lot of cash and a series of complex problems.

But wait, do they really have a lot of cash?
