I am amazed at the ignorance of the two political parties:

The Repulican party was created in the 1850s to abolish slavery. Lincoln got it done and took a bullet in the head for it.

Democrat Party, the entire South and much of the North were Democrats. All Confederates were Democrats, Nathan Bedford Forrest was a Democrat, the rebirth of the clan was all Democrats, hell a Democrat governor of Indiana was openly KKK.

Democrat/KKK members lynched Blacks, Catholics, Jews and Republicans....

To this day the democrats still are using violence as a utility to push their extreme views.

This is all TRUE. Democracy and democratic principals are a both big tents and house many differing opinions and people from many walks of life. Republicanism's main principle is a government of the people with very limited power in the hands of the people in order to prevent mob rule. Democratic principles are based on the premise that what is good for the majority is what is best. This is why poor people and middle class people, farmers and laborers and small business owners alike are so fond of democratic principals. On the other hand Republican principals are all about limiting the political power of the individual...we elect representatives to express our political will, we do not vote directly on that will. The founding fathers realized that the people, given the power to do so, would eliminate the ruling class and there is no way the founding fathers, who were the ruling class at the time, were going to allow that anymore than any ruling class in the history of man has allowed it. Thus we became a republic. This was a fundamental shift in the ways of man on earth at the time....but that shift started the day we formed a society...and is continuing to shift today....the world is becoming more democratic and will continue to do so. The ruling class is losing its grip on the people...it ain't happening fast but it is happening. Trump is a perfect example of this....the GOP ain't no fan of Trump...but he was attractive to many people and the ruling class in both parties ain't having it....

Kinda sucks, tbh.

Democracy is like saying Joe Cox is just as good as Joe Burrow.
