I think it would make the quake that caused the tsunami in 2004 seem like a small truck drove by.

Honestly, BamaScoop, you guys had a great coach that, from what I've heard from the Bama fans like yourself, was driven off - Gene Stallings.

Wait, who are we talking about?

I know, I know. If he does leave he'll have to get out of there at 2am and pray to God that the Bama faithful aren't camped outside his house.

It'll be immediately removed, you'll be banned from there and they'll ask for you to be banned from here as well.

With Emmert there, this would not surprise me at all.

Emmert was the one who sheltered nick at LSU.
Mark would let him have his tirades then keep people clear of him.

Washington is a mess right now much like LSU was in 1999.

UW is much more of Saban's style. He doesn't like to have a million people over his shoulder every second. The Gumps aren't letting him have his space and nobody puts Baby in a corner.

That is true. When coach Bryant died it created a huge power struggle between all of his underlings that were all about the same age. That has been the entire problem with Alabama football since his death.

Expect the UW/Saban speculation to gain traction in the next few months.

I've wondered that ever since the ULM fiasco. Saban and Emmert are tight as ticks. If it hadn't been for Emmert,no way he would have come to LSU. Joe Dean was looking at Memphis State's OL coach.

I'm sure the Alabama fans are adamant that Nick and Terry think Tuscaloosa is the greatest place on Earth and Little Nickie can cower behind Jimmy Sexton and the 'its just business' or 'I haven't talked to anyone, its my agent' nonsense, but if Willingham and Washington falter,Saban will be first on Emmert's list. Would Saban leave ? Who knows, might not ? Would Saban listen ? Hell, yes.

I think you guys are all forgetting that there are 32 million little guaranteed reasons for him to stay. He loses them if he chooses to leave. I don't care who you are you don't walk away from that. Just my .02 RTR

Saban would listen to Emmert even if he was selling Rainbow vacuums that came with Mexican immigrants to work them. If Emmert comes a calling Bama should be very worried and may want to start sending out feelers themselves. They might actually get their chance to bring Sly Croom home.

BamaScoop, a friend of mine here is what I call a "Blue Blood Bama" person. Her Uncle was Dave Rosenfeld that played way back for the tide. She hates all the mess that's going on and is still mad with the way Stallings was treated.

He won't lose very much at UW. They have all the money they need to make Lil' Nicky happy.

I think enough time has passed for me to admit that I had an ENORMOUS man-crush on Stallings. And his son corky, for that matter. Those two used to bring your Humble Pimpness to his knees. that was some beautiful, touching stuff.

I liked old Gene so much I was afraid they would revoke my LSU tickets. He is right up there with The Great One, CU Coach Bill McCartney and The One Who wears The Hat.

Stallings was the closest thing to Coach Bryant Bama will ever have but the problem he had was that he played for aTm while the others played for BAMA. Coach Stallings was one of the juction boys.

There is one more guy out that that is old school Bear Bryant and you will laugh at me but I wish he were our coach because I thin he may be one of the best coaches in all of college football.

Sylvester Croom - he has done a lot with not much.

Croom is a class act. I was crying right along with him when he won the bowl game this year. Bama screwed up by not getting him. I'm serious and believe he would have Bama in better standing now than Nick.
