Not to sound like Brannigan, but one play doesn’t change the fact that he’s gone down very easily on a lot of plays.

And he may or may not have improved any. However, there have been plenty of reports that he has made big improvements this offseason.

I don’t think anyone is expecting him to carry the ball 20 times a game. Just pointing out the absurdity of the opinion that Gus is playing favorites based literally on no information of what has happened during practice.

I like Shivers and defended him during the recruiting cycle as a worthy RB for Auburn but I’m skeptical that he’s a 3 down back.

Interested to see how this goes

He's not a between the tackles RB. He is a get him in space and let his quickness take over type RB. I am glad he is on our side.

exactly. And showing how he stacks up against a safety(that photo) is not what we are talking about.

Running inside requires a back to break tackles from DTs and LBs too. We know Shivers has great straight away speed.

I agree, while I like Shivers heart and drive, he will go down easier, which is nothing like edwards-helaire.
