Koolaid and Armani tonight (now).
Armani looks healthy but bigger/thicker. Koolaid smooth.
Early game action Jaquel Fells Jr. (nickname is 3J). I’ve known him his entire life scores an early TD for PV. 6-0.
Players to watch for. Number 1 Pinson Koolaid 7 Pinson 3J. 1 HT Finkley, 3 HT Kelly (Ole miss commit), 2 HT Armani, 33 HT Sean Jackson (probably a Troy UAB kind of player possibly). If he was 6’ instead of 5’8” he would be one of the top 10 players in the state. And 72 Riley Quick

Edit #5 Washington from HT is the Ole miss commit not Kelly.
13-7 PV. Koolaid with a TD on a deep pass

Armani with 2 TD runs on the drive one called back for a hold behind the play. Then later in drive finishes it off by driving a defender 5 yards and in to the endzone. 14-13 HT

First half impressions. Finkley #1 on HT is still a beast. Would remind most of mix between Carl Lawson and Marlon Davidson. Always hustles. Trey Washington(the Ole miss commit) on Koolaid is a good matchup. 2 PBU for Washington in deep balls. Mckinstry other then the busted coverage on a QB scrambled for the TD has been quiet other then underneath throws. Armani not a lot of carries looks healthy. Has all the running back instincts you could as for. Looks to be around 200ish pounds which might be a little heavy for him. Still the fastest person on the field. The underrated guys Sean Jackson is a tank of a fullback. Jacqueline Fells is a crafty and quick speedy WR for Pinson. Both should play college ball at the next level just not sure if that is quite D-1. Troy UAB probably too D1 schools that would offer. Both good hard workers. Have coached both in the past in baseball and both are incredible athletes.

Can’t say where I coach at I’m way to vocal on here. My son is a Senior at Hewitt tho so I know most of the kids there and many from Pinson as well. I coach in the 5A classification. Baseball coach used to be an offensive coordinator but gave that up a couple years back. It took up way to much time. When I added baseball football summer workouts all that stuff I was making less then $15 an hour

Do you want to make this an ongoing high school football thread?
Looks like Caleb Nix is in action against Hoover

Long run by Armani TD. Run off and left Koolaid in the dust.

We’ve got a good one if that knee holds up. He’s looks every bit the part of a top 5 RB

TD Koolaid. 30-19 HT. Simple slant route TD reception.

Goodwin TD. 37-19 HT running away with it now

Goodwin is unbelievable talented. Koolaid is very overrated. I’ve seen him play 7 or 8 games and his top end speed isn’t SEC quality corner back. Would be better on the offense. Peagues at Oxford is much better and we need to be on him hard now. If Koolaid stays on defense he’s either a nickel or safety

TD Sean Jackson after an interception. 44-19 HT
