At this point, it feels like the SEC and ACC could bring NCAA down with 1 press conference

As these 2 conferences go, the rest of CFB goes. It could also be this way with the Big 10 (and probably on a larger scale) but they don’t seem as locked in with SEC goals like the ACC. The Big 12 seems to be along for the ride and the PAC 12 is an afterthought.

If the SEC and ACC were to agree together on a cross-conf season and invite others to join in, it could easily be the end of NCAA where soon after they announce they split off from the NCAA.

While the ACC doesn’t have many heavy hitters program wise outside of Clemson, I admire their no bullshite approach to this whole situation.

I think the NCAA is already dead. They have stayed silent through all of this which means they know.

We carry the football side. They carry the basketball side. We both have some great baseball programs. It works

And we're also forgetting one very big player that now has a huge seat at the table.

Notre Dame.

I despise them. But no one ever accused them of being stupid. They...with their NBC contract in their pocket...have parlayed that ACC relationship into a very big seat at this table.

Watch what happens when Notre Dame throws their considerable weight behind this.

By the way...Notre Dame has agreed to share their NBC money with the ACC.

While I support and hope they play, there are undoubtedly millions of college football fans who are against having a season. Very possible that even if they do play that TV viewership will be way down from normal in protest. No good solutions, just the least worst options.

The NCAA is a voluntary organization any confrence or school can leave any time they so choose, many seem oblivious to this fact.

The SEC has no desire to "bring down the NCAA" they have the biggest seat at the table and it benefits them greatly.

This is the perfect opportunity to disband the corrupt NCAA and start over.

I bet Maryland, right about now, is having some regrets!
