One?
Dale was starting anyway. Eboigbe, Young, Harris, and Lee started due to injury

One player missed on caused the tide to start all those TrFr? Where were all the Dlinemen and ILBs saban signed in the '16, '17 and '18 classes? If bama didn't have any or they weren't good enough that's poor roster management and player development.
LSU lost both starting DEs for the same three game stretch. The new starters were a Sr and a Jr. The new backups still weren't TrFr.

Better hope that whole new offense is ready that quickly.

Damn now Saban can change the NFL 3 year rule for draft eligible players? Impressive. Most Impressive.

Did saban get special permission from the pope? Did he forge their high school graduation date on paperwork? Are you fudging that statement because it's your only EXCUSE?

Yep, he’s the GOAT for a reason.

Or will the refs let the best team win? My bet is that Birmingham's soul is still sold to Saban.
So now Georgia has joined the crybaby club, believing it is better to discredit the SEC rather than look at your own shortcomings. You will always be a loser with this attitude

There were four Dlinemen in either their second or third year on the team and they were beat out by three TrFr for starting assignments. I thought barmore was an animal. Unblockable. Why didn't he see more starts or at least more snaps? What's the deal with mathis? Even with all the injuries on the DL and him being one of older Dlinemen he can't get any starts. Just not good enough?
From the roster you provided there were six LBs available with more experience than a TrFr. Some of those guys had to be ILBs? Couldn't an OLB have moved inside? C Allen played in all 13 games. How bad was his injury? He could have sat some of preseason camp and first couple of games to get him 100%. It's not like he was needed to secure a victory for bama.

He was. Maybe a bit too unblockable tho. Overran the QB often and didn’t play his gap.

He’s fine, good rotational player. Saw some significant playing time when Davis was injured near the end of last season

3 were ILBs
Moody was a 3 star, never panned out
Benton was a bust, completely useless. I have no idea why he played so much versus LSU. It was like playing 10 v 11.
Kaho was ... idek. He had only been on campus about 4 months total so he was extremely inexperienced and he had a ton of family issues.
We actually played Lewis and Jennings at ILB some throughout the season, mostly in the LSU game. As you might have thought, playing a 6’5 260 lb pass rusher at ILB is not a good idea

OLB was fine, they were not an issue. Allen looked visibly less explosive but that was expected.

So what you're saying is barmore, moody, benton and kaho's shortcomings are due to poor player development. Kaho has been on campus two years. He was an '18 signee. He played in every game in '19 and at least a dozen in '18.
Watched the LSU/bama game a few times never once did I notice jennings and lewis lining up anywhere but as the two outside defenders on the LOS. Sometimes with hand on the ground as a DE. Sometimes standing up as OLB. Never as a LB backed off the ball behind the DL. Guess I'll have to watch again and pay closer attention.

Are you frickin retarded? Barmore came in as a high ceiling prospect that was incredibly raw, of course he wasn’t good right away...
Moody was 3 star that didn’t pan out. Pretty common.
Benton is absolute arse. Nobody could have developed him.
Kaho at the start of the 2019 season had literally on campus for 4 months. He enrolled late in August 2018 and played most of the season as a true freshman. He then left because of family issues and didn’t practice until fall camp.

He was an animal when he was, he also committed a bunch of penalties and jumped wrong gaps a lot. Young guy who hasn't become consistent yet.

Just hasn't developed into anything more than a rotational guy.

We missed on both backers and DL in that 2017/2018 group, so guys like Tevita Muska (who wasn't a SEC player) ended up getting snaps.

Most of those guys were pure outside guys - Allen, Jennings, Lewis. Benton did move inside some, but he was pretty much a total disaster. Kaho showed signs, but he basically didn't practice his entire 1st year due to health, so developmentally he was more like a true freshman. Moody was a last minute signing when we whiffed on a bunch of backers.

C Allen played in all 13 games. How bad was his injury?
He was clearly not the same guy - very stiff.
Bottom line - it was a melting pot of issues. Lots of recruiting misses/getting beat in 17/18 for guys, injuries, some guys that didn't develop. It was a perfect recipe for disaster.

bro you're retarded how u gone say someone can't be developed if they never get any playing time or maybe he couldn't grasp the playbook. you clearly don't keep up with bama football

Hey YON. BROSS MON CHU!!!
barmore was in his second year and he got jumped by THREE TrFr for starts and PT. Call me not impressed.
Kaho has played in 28 of a possible 28 games for bama. He has played in EVERY GAME for bama the last two years. He must have learned something.
