Guess we will enter another decade of them not winning in Baton Rouge.

May enter a decade of them not winning at all.

Imagine the battle between Nix and Myles next year assuming his stock doesn’t shoot up crazy and he stays.

Alabama fans said the same thing about LSU. don't count on that.

That’s true. Auburn was a tough fought game. LSU didn’t get much of a fight in Tuscaloosa.

OP is trying to provoke me into a response.

Even closer in 2018, and that is with Gus’s Offense.

Yeah a 5 point game is never close.
29-0 was much more of a close game.

I'm not upset about it. We were never winning that game
Just showed how good we could have been that year

Close but no cigar!

Keep telling yourself that!
It was 33-13 at the half.
Your team was getting a mud hole stomped in their arse!

Let's not act like they didn't run the ball down our throats in the second half.
Something tells me that if the sec wants to try to run it down our throats in the future, they better do it this year, because holy hell we are deep and getting deeper in the middle of our defense.
Have y'all seen the recruits on the d line that Lsu is getting? I mean it's starting to resemble those bama auburn and Clemson d lines of the recent past

Not really.
LSU gained 500+yards.
I don’t think we ever led in the second half.

Ahhh here’s the problem. You think a football game consists of one half. Please carry on with your window licking.

If Gus is still on the sidelines- probably

The games we were most in danger of losing last year were Texas, Auburn, and Florida.
Texas did what LSU usually does against Bama and blew their entire season's wad that game and came up short.
We outplayed Auburn bigly but couldn't stop tripping over our own dicks in the red zone (lots of credit to Auburn)
Florida was probably the best-coached effort against LSU last year. They were undermanned but really couldn't have played it any better. Mullins is a weirdo and can't recruit but damn he can put together a good gameplan. That game was closer than how the game went IMO.
The next closest to those was at Bama but I never got as scared of pissing the game away (except I've seen us find some really creative ways to lose to Bama so I was of course nervous until the clock hit 0). That score appears closer than how the game went IMO.

We had the defense for it, but going into Tiger Stadium with a true frosh QB ain't exactly a recipe for victory. Bo shite the bed in Gainesville and Baton Rouge.

It ain't like yall have lit it up in Jordan-Hare. Yall have won 5 times in Auburn since 1974....

I know you’re being facetious geauxnavy but Auburn was equal with LSU at every position and every phase of that game except one, QB. Also that was the first time in my unremarkable life that I was rooting for Auburn to beat LSU.

Florida keeping it close late into the second half and Vandy scoring like 35 points were both more shocking.
