Let’s be real, Arkansas is a shite hole for football.
Gus and Chad has the calendar already marked for their super bowl against Arkansas.

Is this really the level that Auburn football has fallen to? Arkansas is your Superbowl??

Well odds are he won’t have success at Auburn, just like every single OC that preceded him.

That is why Missouri decided to fire Odom and get an offensive head coach that knows offense. He will set it up this year and the newly OC will be recruiting and doing limited OC duty. He may give HC some advice and ideas. Gus used to be that guy! What happened?

Success is not in Chad's DNA.

I wish Gus would mark the LSU and UGA games as important games as well.

What was Arkansas supposed to do? He won 4 games in 2 years. I'd wait and see how the season goes before I talk smack.

Might blame it on COVID-19 if it goes south!

What we have here is two high school phenoms who drew their success from other coaches players while being an OC.

Gus was best at it and Chad dominoed at Clemson.

Neither is head coaching material.Gus is average,Chad sucks balls.

If Auburn can bring in a real head coach who can give them quality talent and let them tinker with the offense then they might have something there.

But I'm hoping, like all other SEC teams, they do just well enough to keep their jobs.

That he was a shite head coach. Pretty sure that’s not the position you hired him to be.

GTFO, you can't even begin to compare the two. Gus isn't Saban, but he's been a very solid head coach that tends to lose a head-scratcher or two per season. His recruiting has been top-notch and he's played for the SEC twice in his tenure...during Alabama's run across the state.

What else have they got? Auburn is the epitome of mediocrity under Gus. Three 5 loss seasons, one six loss season and two 4 loss seasons. Even the last year they made it to Atlanta they shite the bed vs UCF in the Peach Bowl.

I would agree but looking back from about 1998 to 2011 they had some some average success (above .500), hell they even have some 10 win seasons in there. But they don’t have the best choices for Head Coach. They went from Chad with a 14-22 record to now having an OL coach who has never been a Head Coach. Before that they hired Fat Bert who took over a successful Wisconsin and was able to sustain that success. Bert took over Ark from a con-man who helped Kill the program. They need to get 2 things. A big name head coach and a big time bagman
