Theoretically, yes. However, they are a big money program so I doubt they get anything serious besides make forfeiting previous games and a post season ban

We know the NCAA wont ever do anything like that again, probably they would get hit severest though being on probation already, I would imagine some type of reduction of scholarships and postseason ban or something.

I'm pretty sure this drops them under the new punishment scale from 2013 when they restructure the tiers of violations that the NCAA started implementing right around the time hookergate happened. And it has a fairly harsh punishment for repeat offenders while still on probation from a Level I infraction if I recall correctly.
It does present an interesting issue for Iona who just hired Rick Pitino. I wouldn't be surprised if he catches a show-cause for this.
