Not sure about other fight songs, but I know Yeah Alabama was a pop hit in the 20s or 30s.

I do like Notre Dame's fight song.

Their pre-game is amazing as well:

Some programs in the SEC really need to step it up in this regard.

Probably the only line in the whole damn mess that makes sense.

“Who taught the Bulldogs to behave, and sent the Yellow Jackets to a watery grave” -WTF does that even mean?

Arkansas is up there.

Like in the difference between Tommy Hodson and Bart Starr, you morons need to even know what each schools actual fight song is .

Hint, the Glory Glory that every other school in the country uses, is not the fight song. Rocky Top, no matter how many times they play it, is not a fight song. As big of an improvement as it would be, “won’t back down” isn’t Florida’s fight song.

"I've been working on the Railroad" is Texas' fight song.

How do people get this wrong so often?

Completely different songs.

As much as I dislike ND, they have a lot going for them as an institution. Academically they are very good, and their tradition is top notch.

My problem is they get the benefit of the doubt for everything. They are a protected species, if you will, and that rankles me.
My disdain for them is probably a little envy but a lot is justified.

They really are different. but, it doesn't surprise me that a Tennessee fan can't tell the difference between "Glory, Glory Hallelujah" and "I've Been Working on the Railroad". They still think "Rocky Top" was written by Bach and is high society.

This type of content should be beneath you and oozes saltiness imo. I did not intend to strike a nerve with my assessment of Georgia’s very generic and forgettable fight song

UGA chose its song based on the Christian hymnal to reflect its Christian values.

How could anyone from the southeast think that the Battle Hymn of the Republic, a song about literally stomping the blood out of southerners like the Italians do with grapes to make wine, is the best of anything?
