You literally just won a national title and you’re still melting about a regular season game the year before.

Arkansas: 1-0 (Cotton Bowl)
Auburn: 1-0 (Sugar Bowl)
Alabama: 3-1 (the one loss stings)
Florida: 0-1 (2008 BCSNCG)
Georgia: 0-1 (CFP semifinal)
LSU: 0-2 (2003 BCSNCG & 2019 CFP)
Tennessee: 2-0 (home-and-home)
Texas A&M: 0-1 (Cotton Bowl)
Overall: 7-6, yet 0-5 in big games
I just saw the “other,” but oh well; I participated.

Or it's just a nice clean start of the century.

Yeah, no. Show up in regular season games. Poop the bed in games that matter. Ah well. It’s like after 10 shots in of tequila, you lose count, lol.

That would be 2001 but I'm fine with writing 2000 off since we went 8-4.

And that's why it's our cutoff point.
We had some good years and even a few stretches here and there. But, nothing like these 20 years. That said, I believe we're still 11th in all time wins or something like that.

I wondered why Bama fans were taking this thread so personally And going into nuclear melt mode instead of just telling us their record. So I googled Iron Bowl since 2000 and then I understood.

We've as many national championships since 2007 as the number of times Auburn has beaten us in that stretch. Our record in the Iron Bowl since 2000 doesn't mean much to us, considering the coaches prior to then were Mike DuBose, Dennis Franchione, and Mike Shula.

They mock LSU fans for using the turn of the century as a measuring stick because those years were too painful.

The new millenium (as it relates to CFB) didn't start until 2009 for most gumps.

LOLOLOLOL. Gump spins so hard he ends up saying Iron Bowl is almost meaningless . The carcasses of 3 dozen perfectly good hound dogs , two burned trailers and three pregnant sisters says otherwise.

This sounds dumb as frick.
They were still your coaches just as much as Saban, your program hired them just as much as they did Saban.
