A lot of people think tonight is the first time anybody from the NCAA is watching. Select media members saw this shite weeks ago for a pre-release offering. People from the NCAA saw this garbage a month ago.

I didn't watch. I honestly figured it would be boring; most of these things are AT BEST 1-2 big reveals with about 58 minutes of filler.
I presume this special was more of the same?

Pretty much. I'm an hour in and would kill for a big reveal
America is so ADHD they're already looking at memes instead of the tv and have no idea who Pear is.

Figured the ones being entertained don't necessarily follow college sports like people here do. HBO isn't getting anyone in trouble, this is a historic tale of faith, courage, and relative success.

Great documentary. Exposes a huge FBI frickup and starts to reveal the dirty game of basketball. I think people thought it was going to be a little different.

The best part about it was the first part showing how Dawkins got to where he did, which honestly was very impressive. Dude started puting out scouting mags for middle schoolers when he was 12 years old and was making $600 a pop from college coaches. He actually seems to be a really a smart guy that just tried to cut too many corners because he couldn't get certified as an actual agent.
As far as the "gotcha" moment that was advertised of "never before heard recordings" was pretty misleading...what we got was the audio version of the transcripts already leaked by yahoo. So while technically we haven't heard them, we read the transcripts.

I would expect LSU fans to say this. They've known Wade is a cheater for over a year now and they have no problem with it.
