Will make less money in Athens next season than he did in Tuscaloosa. Different jobs? Yes. Interesting? Also yes.

45k less. Probably the delta between his new salary and bama retirement but I’m speculating.

That’s how much he hated working for that angry midget Saban.

Shyt is criminal with the way salaries are increasing in P5 CFB

4-5 yrs ago a ST Coordinator was lucky to make $125K at a P5 school, there were cases where the ST Coordinator was making $95 to $100K and now a ST Coordinator is getting $550K per year

Coaching salaries have gotten out of hand, it might be time for CFB & MBB players to sit down and boycott until a more fair distribution of the Revenues can be agreed upon

Before the usual crowd calls me crazy, most P5 Schools can't survive an interruption in Revenues with the way that the Welfare Sports bleed cash and lose money

At some point the nonsense has to stop, and $550K for a STs Coordinator is utter nonsense

That's ok. They stole Indiana's strength coach.

From what I am gathering it sounds like Cochran's move to Georgia was more about getting an on the field coaching position than it was about money. This seems to confirm that

I seriously think Scott Cochran was about to be asked to walk by the midget. Probably due to injuries and lack of physical fitness from the last few seasons.

This is not really interesting. Most people take a pay cut when they change careers.

I don’t think Saban wanted Cochran to leave. But Alabama was absolutely moving in a different direction with the strength program, with the Sports Science Center under construction. I think we would have saw someone hired to work with Cochran to implement the updated strength program.

However, Cochran had been wanting to move to an onfield position and wasn’t ready to shake up the strength program he’s implemented for 13 years. So it was time for everyone involved to go in a different direction.

I’m actually so happy that during my every other year trip to Tuscaloosa I won’t have to hear his dumb fricking arse scream on there big screen. What an annoying mother fricker.

Hey, Bama fans, who are you guys going after Saban leaves?

Lincoln Riley or someone like him?
