For an on field position, guessing ST

Had to wait for him to be vested in the Alabama retirement system

Bama fans aren’t very happy about it either

The calls of "He ain't got no on-field ex-purr-ince, PAWWWWWWWWlll" from Bama faithful are likely pouring in.

I was going to ask if that had cleared or not yet. I remember that being a primary objection to him leaving back when Kirby was hired.

Makes a lot of sense that he’d make a move like this now. He’s set for life with the vesting opportunity met at the salary he held at Bama. Playing with house money as his career is concerned

Was at 9 years I think when Kirby came over. Need 10 in Alabama.

The Auburn fans seem to be taking that stance harder than anyone else

I'm moderately concerned about the risk for us, given that he *doesn't* have the on-field experience, and I'm not sure what his knowledge of ST looks like, but I generally trust that Kirby knows what he wants and wouldn't have done it if it wasn't an opportunity to improve the staff.

From what I know about ST, it’s just as much a job of motivating as it is scheming. Cochran spent the past 12 years with both Saban and Kirby at Bama. I’m not worried if Kirby’s not worried

Biggest pick up ever...that guy is ridiculous.

I asked him that question in person 2 years ago and his reply was "NO, that is not true at being vested. Kirby never offered me a job when he left Bama. If you were me, would you work for Saban or Kirby?".
In all honesty, I told him Saban.

I look forward to meeting him.

Couldn't have been a nicer guy.
