The five toughest games on Texas' schedule for 2020
Here is coach O reaction to that

Which games are the toughest on Texas' 2020 schedule?
1. Oklahoma (in Dallas), Oct. 10
2. at LSU, Sept. 12
3. at Oklahoma State, Nov. 28
4. Iowa State, Nov. 21
5. Baylor, Oct. 31
quote:
Texas threw one heck of a scare into LSU — few teams played the eventual national champions better — before injuries ravaged the Longhorn defense. Could Texas return the favor and sneak out of Death Valley with a major road win? It’s never easy to win on the road, but the mass exodus out of Baton Rouge after this year’s title, including Heisman Trophy winner Joe Burrow, an army of early entrants for the NFL Draft and two of the coaching architects of last year’s success, both dislodged by Matt Rhule’s move from Baylor to the Carolina Panthers. Dave Aranda will take over for Rhule at Baylor while passing game coordinator Joe Brady joined Rhule’s staff with the Panthers.
LSU is still LSU, and while it’s unclear what the Tigers’ system will look like defensively, there will be athletes all over the field, including arguably the nation’s top cornerback in Derek Stingley leading a young, but talented defensive back group. Offensively, expect Steve Ensminger to continue Brady’s momentum (and system) with a new quarterback attempting to take advantage of a strong skill position group, including returning Biletnikoff Award-winning wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase. Keep an eye out for one of the stars of LSU’s freshman class, athletic tight end Arik Gilbert, who enrolled early and could be a matchup problem in a spot vacated by Thaddeus Moss’ decision to go to the NFL.

Maybe they will?
It’s January.
Who the heck knows at this point?

Texas played the Champs closer than they did Oklahoma last year.

Texas, Auburn, and Bama lost to LSU by one possession
Bama and Texas couldn’t stop LSU at all and scored a late TD to make it look closer
Auburn really didn’t play well against LSU on the stat sheet on either side of the ball, but they probably played LSU the best

Both will be L’s. It’s amazing how much fake juice Texas got from their win over Georgia in the Sugar Bowl last year. Georgia’s season was over after losing a heartbreaker to Bama in Atlanta, and could have cared less to be there. But after that game “TEXAS IS BACK”. Joke

Scared of what? We don’t play Texas, and you are a Penn State fan. Please make a point.

I guess it’s a testament to the SEC that Texas fans and Penn State fans are posting on an SEC board. I can promise you that SEC fans aren’t posting on a Big 12 or Big Ten message board. But......It just means more.

Look who I replied to and look at my post history before putting your 1980 on display for everyone to see.

I apologize, but glad you are the first person to bring up 1980

Y’all should leave the football talk to teams that have won a national championship while we’ve all been alive.
