Thanks, y'all were certainly worthy and I've no doubt you'll be back in the game next year.

Not melting. LSU played a great game and had a great team. I like Coach O. He is another interim coach that made it, so as a Dabo fan you got to like that.
When you get beat sometimes the best thing to do is acknowledge it and get back to work.
The future at Clemson is bright. I think we will be back again in the future. I think LSU could also be back in a short time as well.
Two very good teams and programs that should hold their heads high.

Thanks, good game.
We're scheduled to go to Clemson in 2025, and at LSU in 2026. See you then, if not before. And don't let the horror stories of the LSU fans at the NCG scare you, the tailgating atmosphere at LSU is second to none. We treat our guests to plenty of food and drink, if accompanied by some good-natured ribbing. Ask around some of the V-Tech fans to see if any made the trip back in 2007 to see what they thought of the pre-game (they lost 48-7, so don't ask about the actual game.)

Thanks ClemsonFann, very classy post.
Good luck to y'all in the future. I think Clemson is back in the big game next year.

Not melting.
Really don’t think he thought you were. He was just yanking your chain. He did get a bite! More Aggays end up flopping on the bottom of the boat, but a surprisingly large number of Bama baws end up there too.
As for the rest, well said and dripping with class!
I really don’t see more work being needed.
Clemson is in a special place right now. The ACC is historically a one good team at a time conference, and Clemson is it. And the other weaker P5 conferences, (PAC and little 12) have sucked on ice. The CFP offers 4 spots. In the old BCS y’all would have been screwed. With the Big 10 and SEC normally taking the first 2 of the 4 playoff spots, Clemson has a 2/3 chance of making it any year. Getting in is half the fight.
Only 3 things can change your fortunes:
1. Dabo has a Jimbo melt down. Not likely.
2. Texas buys Dabo in a bidding war. Rumored that they actually offered Nick. Can their deeper pockets overcome Dabo’s loyalties???
3. Or, one or two ACC teams develops enough power to give Clemson a real challenge on the field. A 1 or 2 loss ACC team loses much of its advantage against the sucks on ice P5 conferences. This is the most likely, happened to Miami and Florida State. At a guess, watch NC tarry feet, Mack does know how to do it- Texas talent sucks. Still better than aTm talent.

We on the other hand have a harder path. We’re one of the SEC’s big 6. Traditionally, Bama 1, Tennessee 2, LSU-Georgia Tied 3, and Florida-Auburn tied 5. With LSU 2nd in the West, our schedule cycle offers excellent opportunity every 4 years, 2003 NC, 2007 NC, 2011 lost in NC, 2015 no NC, thanks Les, in 2019 NC.
But the SEC champion is usually the most battle tested SOB at the dance. Hard on the individual teams and injured players, but good for the conference.

Congrats on a great run. And I have no doubt you will start another next year with Lawrence, Etienne, etc.
It's a shame 47# Skowsky? got ejected. Technically it was the rule, but Jefferson was not hurt. I could see he was heartbroken to have the leave the field.

Yea wasn't really a hard hit, but he did lead with crown which is the rule. I actually thought the refs did a good job. Had a couple misses for both sides, but no more than any normal game. They let the DBs and WRs battle it out. I hate when you get the ticky tacky fouls, and ruin the flow of the game. LSU was just the better team. Congrats.
