Not Impressed with your list of candidates. Good for us I guess?

The amazing thing is not that they shite canned Joe M, it’s that didn’t have a strong short list of pre-vetted candidate with known high level interest in the job.

Well done!

Heard today that Chiz interviewed, but then took his name out of contention.

At this point they need to think about un-firing Joe.

Anyone who has ever followed a coaching search knows what that phrase means.

State is soooooooo fricked. Just fricked toothless. Now we won’t be able to tell the difference between you and bama fans.

Some of them still think they get Napier although he said:

quote:

“It’s fair to say that we made a decision that we’re not a candidate for that job,” Napier says. “Let’s go ahead and get that out of the way Tim. I appreciate you asking that question. I think the thing I would say is, it’s very humbling when you do have opportunities and your name comes up in conversations for jobs like that. I think it’s a product of our success.”

Napier

I guess he could become a candidate after the bowl game but that statement seems pretty clear. Even if they get him, its not a great hire.

Our yet to be official next HC was scheduled to interview with the Giants today, and interviewed with Cohen last night. I wouldn't say underwhelming yet.

At least they are searching. Auburn in a holding pattern, knowing they will need to fire Gus.

How is a guy with little experience and no HC experience not underwhelming?

Screw Napier. If that fool wants to lounge around in the Sun Belt making 975,000 instead of 4M more power to him. If he ain’t man enough for the challenge screw him.

Ask the Giants. Ask Belichick. I don't know myself.

Well, they fired a coach after 2 years and a bowl game. Who would want that situation?
