If you think those two likelihoods are the same, you need to educate yourself on probability and statistics.
I just dont find it that hard to believe that somebody knows somebody in the program that gives out tidbits. The obsession and argument about insiders (and it is pervasive across sports boards on this site and others), is interesting. I don't really give any of the comments more than passing interest or credence - just wait and see what happens.
For example, my dad worked for the university for many, many years and would bring home some tidbits from time to time - some ended up correct, sometimes things changed.
