Because a young man decided to pee in an end zone and lose the game, Mississippi State has:

Extended Joe Moorehead’s contract
Paid Joe Moorhead 75,000 bonus for getting them bowl eligible
Allowed Ole Miss to finally fire Matt Luke and end our suffering
Re-energize the Ole Miss program by hiring Lane fricking Kiffin
Allowed State to play in a miserable bowl game in Nashville where they lost

Thank you Elijah Moore, keep on pissing man

It has been an incredible turn of events.

I would retroactively award Ole Miss the W

Still don’t get the excitement over Kiffin. But congrats?

Definitely won’t get another extension if he can’t win their super bowl

When you realize that Orgeron is the 2007 version of Leslie, it’s going to make you so very upset. Burrow leaves. Orgeron goes back to Orgeron. Good luck.

If we don't let him go tomorrow, then you can make a case.

Your swamp man head coach was nearly mentally ill when he was here. Destroyed a program and plenty of Red Bull’s along the way

You have no idea what you are saying. First off, Les would have never ran a wide open offense like this ever. Its why we wanted him gone for years. O said he wanted the spread at his first conference as our head coach years ago. He wanted this. Think after watching what Clemson did to Bama last year he was determined to go all in. Now after this success he’s gonna stay all in.....

Sadly you lost the battle but might have won the war to get over the probation blues. Luke was always going to be the guy to coach during probation but now y’all can start moving forward. We just accepted lower standards.

Lets be honest. Aren't these the types of bowl games MSU historically goes to?

Meh. He will still have us kicking the shite out of Ole Miss every year.

Oh look, cute, it's a WAOM bear.

And this little brother thinking is why you'll always be the WAOM bears.

Congrats on the reenergizing though.

(And that new sweet arse mascot uniform too.)

You never had a program that was capable of being “destroyed”.

Wut?

Look bear, the entire country is laughing at your mascot.

Don't get it twisted son, I don't live on these sports forums and the game(s) itself is largely irrelevant to me; I'm not one to be obsessed with rivalry fanbases.

Certainly not WAOM. I mean chit, you're WAOM.

But you do you little energized dufflebag boy.
