Plane went down in Lafayette. Rumor fans heading to game. Seems late for leaving to me.

Plane went down around 9:00. Three hour flight from there and it would have put them in around 1:00 Eastern time. Plenty of time to Uber from the Airport and get some drinks before the game.

Terrible news. When we think of plane crashes we think of a big jet going down, but the vast majority are small personal aircraft like someone said earlier. My condolences to the family.

Getting killed on your way to see your favorite football team play for a title has to be in the top 10 crappy ways to go. Sickening
