Also, Kyle Henderson at Bama Rivals site says that Trey Sanders is back at practice today and "looks great in drills"

Continues to look like most of Alabama’s team is going to play in the bowl game aside from Terrell Lewis and maybe Trevon Diggs.

All of Alabama’s NFL draft prospects are practicing today aside from Lewis and Diggs.

Not surprising, pretty sure Diggs stopped practicing after the LSU game

Chris Allen has been backing up Lewis this year.

Either Josh Jobe or Jalyn Armour-Davis would probably be competing for Diggs starting spot.

What do you mean by this? There are zero repercussions for them skipping the game (and definitely something to lose with the risk of injury). The guys who are playing are doing so for their teammates and pride (which is admirable and speaks to their qualities as young men), not because of any threats from Saban (not that I think he would threaten them).

Sr's have been playing in bowl games for 100 years (some that were actually going to be drafted). Glad Lewis and Diggs are gone. Lewis made one play in 3 years in the NC game vs UGA. Diggs Is a receiver trying to play DB because he wasn't good enough to start as a receiver.

Diggs looks like he hasn’t practiced all year.

Wonder if they're planning to get him some snaps or if he'll only participate in the drills. He's been out for a long time for a foot injury, have to think that's completely healed by now

I would be shocked if Sanders plays in the bowl game. I think this is more of just getting him back in the groove and improving.

Allen still doesn't look like he's fully back from that knee injury.

No point in not playing Sanders if he is healthy. Heard he could have played in the Iron Bowl if needed. He will still be able to redshirt.

As for Lewis and Diggs sitting out, I'm good with that. Get Allen and Jobe a lot of practice with the 1st team and get them ever better for next year.

100% agree with and Suppot Lewis decision, Diggs.......LOL I guess some team will make the mistake of drafting him in the 1st round....good for Diggs though because At least he will have money.

Saban asked them all to play and said he expected it. That is all
