Tired of getting close to the playoffs or the Natty and losing. Is he becoming complacent like Richt? Discuss among yourselves

Not yet but if Coley becomes Willie Martinez 2.0 then Kirby will be Richt 2.0.

Looks that way...won’t have as much leash as Richt. Fan base won’t tolerate a decade + of this.

Why should we discuss it if you aren't willing to participate?

What about him makes him Richt 2.0 to you?

I don’t think he’s becoming complacent at all but the offensive problems/QB stuff feels eerily similar to Richt and Martinez/defense and sets up the possibility of a real split in the fan base. He has to find the right way to navigate it for sure this offseason.

Richt was elite offensive coach, Kirby elite defensive coach.

Difference is Kirby is elite at roster management.

No. Kirby will put winning above all. Richt would not.

Well, Richt did have 2 SEC titles in his first 4 years. I realize Richt never got us to a national title game, but he's got that on Kirby.

The shine is coming off of Kirby. He better fix this offense quickly. Get a transfer QB in here and at least a competent OC. Coley isn't it.

He became richt when he picked a game manager over the better qb.

I would like to think that but it sounds like he’s already circling the wagons around Coley.

Richt didn't become "Richt" as you mean it until 08

We were ecstatic with Richt until 2009. This has been the best three years as a UGA fan of my entire adult life. Kirby will get there, but he needs time to grow in the job
