Fields is a far better QB and talent. Man up and admit the truth. If you tried to make these arguments to football analysts, they'd laugh in your damn face. If you want proof, well just wait one more year and see where Fields goes in the draft and where Fromm goes, if he's drafted at all.

I can say Fields should have been named the starter after the LSU game last year. I believed it at the time and still believe it. It became obvious that Fromm was never going to be the main reason that a team won a national title. Start the more talented player and wish Fromm well.

After the LSU game last year, Kirby should have identified that 2018 wasn't a national championship team and that giving Fields the starting job would be best for the program going forward.

Fromm wasn’t good early in that game. Wasn’t good early in any of them. Fields was a running back vs vols, and thankfully he ran for 2 tds.
The end to the season doesn’t justify Kirby screwing up so badly /

I'm with Porter. I'd have liked our odds a little better, but I sure as shite wouldn't predict a win.
Fromm had as bad of a day as I worried was likely. If Kirby can't make the hard calls this off-season and go land a truly great OC, we're in for a world of hurt over the next several seasons.
