The cupboard isn’t bare in Oxford and Cole Cubelic tweeted cryptically that he heard an all star staff was being assembled. Lane will be allowed to be a loose cannon and will be a pain in everyone’s arse there. He will have them competitive in 2 seasons. The question will be how long he stays with the Rebel Black Bear Land Sharks.

Honestly, I am not that worried about Lane. He can’t get out of his own way and will likely self destruct in 3 years. Given the climate, coeds, and “open book”- he is going to run into trouble.

Kiffin can't stay out of his own way. He doesn't worry me at all. I didn't want him at Bama and was glad when Saban finally grew weary of him.

This is becoming a pretty tired argument. He didn't self destruct in 3 years at either Bama or FAU, and in year 3 at FAU, he just won his second conference championship.

I think this is a statement to the NCAA saying frick you.. we dare you. Ole miss has lawyered up and has more boosters than people realize. I fully expect a rise in the program. Ole miss turned in UGA and the SEC said too bad.. I really think between that and LSU.. ole miss has said frick it.

I can tell you that you're absolutely right about Ole Miss. I know a few of their boosters and they are just as brazen and competitive as the barn. They are dirty and want to give our program problems the same way Auburn does. The NCAA is corrupt beyond corrupt because they know both of those programs cheat and do very little about it. The probation that Ole Miss received for the Freeze era was really light considering all that happened when he was running things. They should have been hit a lot harder than what they did.
