Source just said he's a helluva recruiter despite Temple being about the worst school in the country to attract players. Word was: "Does a helluva job in a tough, tough place to get kids."

Good point. If you can get goons to Temple, think what you can do at Mizzou? Facilities 2nd to none.

He put 7 players on the AAC all conference squads. 4 on the first team and 3 on the second team. Dude can flat out coach em up.

Their last 4 HCs (not including Manny Diaz who was HC for all of two weeks before he bolted to Miami) have all been hired by P5 schools. In order it went Al Golden to Miami, Steve Addazio to Boston College, Matt Rhule to Baylor, and Geoff Collins to Georgia Tech. The majority of his players were either recruited under Geoff Collins or Matt Rhule.

I would look more at his 6 years at Northern Illinois before he got to Temple.
