There's no G5 schools in the Top 16.

UCF would have made it in last year, by comparison. In fact, as an 8 seed they would have hosted #9 Washington.

The G5 should have their own playoff. There is too big a gap now between the P5 and G5.

I think you insert the go5 with a caveat:


They must play in to the bottom slot with a separate 4 team play in. Since they play much weaker schedules, this evens things out and will get them some extra cash.

So:

Memphis vs
App

Boise vs
Cincy
