The decline is real in Tuscaloosa and college football is wondering when/if Bama will ever return to their glory days and who will be the one to do that. I think Clemson holds Dabo and Lane Kiffin is going to be locked down by someone else soon. So Bama fans, who do you want?

Saban lost two games this year, and didn't have a healthy Tua in either game.

I don't think anybody in the college football is wondering about Bama. I think it's just all the LSU fans who are scared to death of them. Bama has been dominant for years, LSU is finally having a good year and don't know how to handle it

Bama was in a position to win two of those games though, and they dominate two of the three teams that they've lost to

Well in 2009, nick saban did.
After a 3 loss season in 2010, nick saban did.
After a home loss to lsu in 2011, nick saban did.
After the kick six and sugar bowl loss is 2013, nick saban did.
After the ole miss loss and loss to OSU in 2014, nick saban did.
After the ole miss loss in 2015, nick saban did.
After the loss to Clemson in 2016, nick saban did.
After the loss to auburn in 2017, nick saban did.

So if i had to guess. Well i'd guess nick saban.

This right here is the crux of it. Lsu has won so little for so long, that when they finally win a regular season game they haven't won in almost a decade, much like the ole misses' and a&m's of the world, they completely lose their shite.

The ole miss and a&m fanbases believed they had arrived too.

Most of these LSU posters barely remember 2007 and a 2-loss national Championship team. It’s rare air and newbies rarely handle it well. Let them gloat for now. They don’t seem to realize they have UGA and 2 playoff opponents ahead. They ain’t won shite yet.

Wrong. LSU is the winningest program in the SEC this millennium. Look it up.

I didn't forget.

Nick saban and Alabama has a season where they're not playing for a national championship. It isn't the first.

I live in Louisiana and everytime nick saban loses a football game, "the decline" becomes "real" and you people get so creamy over it, you stick to the sofa.

Nevermind for a moment that whiteboots isn't the first inferior coach nick saban has lost to. He's lost to coaches in the same strata as ogeron before.

Right now, ogeron has much, much more in common with the hugh freezes' and kevin sumlins' of the world than he does with the meyer's and spurrier's of the world.

No. Today they are too busy making fun of Saban's "Unfair" excuse.

I would love to hear Gary's take on it.

It looks different in 2019, the last three ranked teams that have played Bama have each scored 40+. Bama is not headed in a positive direction.

I hear Bill Belichick, Pete Carroll and Sean Payton are all THREE chomping at the bit for the Alabama Head Coaching Position.

The latest sources state that money doesn’t really matter, they all want the position bad.

That’s what my sources are telling me

It's the truth though. Call it "delusional" all you want. The fact of the matter is this. Right now, a regular season football game is the best win of ogeron's career and it took him four times to do it and he could barely do it at that.

Since 2008, three coaches have cashed in a regular season win against alabama and made it to the championship game. Les miles, gene chizik and gus malzahn. Only one has won it. You know who that was? I'll remind you. Gene chizik, he had a heisman winner too and in the following season, he went 3 and 9.

That's the company ogeron is in right now.

Alabama wasn't headed in a "positive direction" after 2010 either. Nor was it headed in a positive direction after two back to back losses in 2013.

Remember when saban hired lane kiffin? I do, the enitre country pointed and laughed.

None of this new to nick saban and alabama. None of it.

Whenever alabama loses a football game, a new failure fantasy comes right along with it. Especially here in Louisiana.
