The Baton Rouge smell really does live up to the hype

It’s unpleasant, not awful, and is undeniably unique. This place and Beaumont are the only cities I’ve been to where I’m confident you could have me step out of the car blindfolded and I could tell you where I was.
I’m not even sure what to compare it to. It’s like a mix of burnt toast and musty tide.

I will admit I’ve never smelled anything I’d liken to corn dogs. The state fair smells like that and it’s definitely not what I’ve noticed the three times I’ve been here.

It really is such a shite hole. I like the campus fine but everything around it is just horrific. A shame really
