Joe was the last person at the Post who would call Cardinal ownership and Mizzou Sports department out for being shitty/shitty moves.

Strauss was a troll on purpose for Mizzou sports. That’s fine if you’re an anonymous internet poster. He was a supposed journalist.

He was wrong plenty. Trolls can’t always be right because they’re more interested in provoking a response than reporting. Even Joe’s colleagues will tell you this. They’ve said it publicly.

Joe was an a-hole, but he wasn't afraid to ruffle feathers or any of the sports teams.
And he would take shots at Missouri, and majority of the time he was correct in his trolling. Especially the Cream Puff Out of Conference games Pinkel would schedule. Was an embarrassment for ticket buyers.
He hard a hard on for Mizzou, but if you paid attention, he was always at a lost for why the University wasn't held to higher standards by the fans.
Only Division 1 program in state, and were still dealing with turds like Odom.
