Have to finally figure out a way to get at least a competent pass rush. Hopefully Wooten and Redding can offer something as freshman

Haley had a few offers last winter. He turned them down to return to Columbia.

The team wasn't coming off a 6 game offensive shite show last winter.

They both currently have some leverage and I don't see either sticking around to waste it.

Haley and Odom have a very tight relationship. I’d be very surprised to see him go.

They can choose where they go this year like Elarbee did in 2017. Being in control is nice versus reacting to what seems inevitable.

I believe the inevitable to be much closer.

Exactly. This is a business. If someone offers Haley 600k to coach in a stable program, he is gone.

Add in the rumblings that the assistant coaches didn’t get along.

They can choose where they go anyway. Assistants don’t get hired mid season. Let’s say Odom gets fired tomorrow, did that have any effect on a guy like Haley finding a job? No, not at all.

Again, I’d be very surprised if Haley left unless it was for a huge raise.

It all depends who is the new head coach. Might not want to hire his own coaches to fit his style.

If the head coach is fired does that effect assistants? Meaning can the AD hold on to the assistants assuming the new coach wants them.

Negotiating salary with a job vs negotiating without one matters.

Resources for autism that are in Columbia had a big part in Haley turning jobs down a year ago.

Do you think more fans would be disappointed if Odom were kept around for continuity or if he was fired and this process started over with an underwhelming hire?

Why do you assume an underwhelming hire will be made if Odom is let go?

Please list two homerun hire! I mean it. That is like I have no idea who can do the job at Mizzou with low budget for football in general, harder to compete with rest of SEC for 4 and 5 stars recruits, and not the best location for coaches that want to come to MIZZOU and stay there long enough to build the foundation and compete with rest of SEC.
If hire an OC or DC that is going to be Barry Odom 2.0 hire. Might work and might not. Then the fans will be like wait and see approach. Just like with Odom. If a well known successful head coach then that means a lot of money to hire the coach and staffs. One like Greg Schiano? Just giving you an example.

How about just beating 3-9 fricking Vanderbilt Lefty?

We aren't asking for the fricking world here. Beat Wyoming and Vanderbilt, you go 8-4 this year and people are fricking happy.

Beat the fricking cupcakes.

Yes please list the coaches that will get the job done! and compete the SEC east division. I mean really good idea. I listed Greg Schiano. I think he will get it done.
