Not dissing any SEC team but nobody wants to draw them first game of playoffs. They can score and they have legit defense bigtime.

Revolutionary

No one wants to play the 1st or 2nd most talented team per year

I wish we had this foresight

Hot take!

Hate to be “that guy “ but water is wet. It would be more contrarian to suggest they might lose a game.

Unless PSU gets lucky, I expect OSU will beat PSU convincingly. I'm not 100% sold that OSU will get out of the big house with a win. Likely OSU beats Michigan? Yes, it's likely but I don't believe it's a given. Michigan is playing pretty good football and will be OSU's biggest challenge. If OSU gets past Mich, they'll beat Minnesota.

At this point in the season, I actually think Clemson is playing better football than OSU. So, I do think LSU staying #1 in the rankings gives us an advantage.
I disagree with the pundits that believe OSU will jump LSU. It wouldn't make sense to put OSU #1 for two weeks just to put LSU back at #1 if LSU wins the SECCG. It would be absurd to rank OSU above LSU if both teams win out.

As an LSU fan, the only team LSU really need to be focused on is UGA. LSU beating UGA is anything but a given. UGA is playing good football. If LSU wins a NC, it's bittersweet if we lose the SECCG. Moreover, I'm one of those that truly believe if a team doesn't win it's conference that team should be playing for a NC, but that's just me and my opinion.

As an SEC fan, I'd love to see two SEC teams in the CFP, but the only way that happens is for LSU to lose to UGA. Bama is still in the mix but Oregon is playing well. I don't think Oregon gets left out if they win out. I think Oregon winning out is more likely than OSU or LSU winning out, again just my opinion.

They were undefeated when LSU drew them in the only round of the playoffs, and LSU ran roughshod over them all night long.

Door is open for them this year. Lswho doesnt play defense, so they'll just hope to outscore.

You’re going to be so disappointed when they fail to score 40pts in their next three games.

Well, they should end up undefeated since they play in the big 10 and have a weak OOC slate. A handful of SEC teams would do the same against that schedule
