Not sure how the past is relevant to the present though.

Now that LSU has beaten Alabama the past carries weight again.

Inb4 46-41.

Probably should assume so. 2 cherry-picked games, 1 of which is from a different year, is all the info you need to know how good a team is.

LSU’s defense gave up 74 to a&m and 41 to bama. Crazy how their defense gives 57.5 points per game!

Great point! They also scored 23 on AU and 0 on bama last time in Baton Rouge. 11.5 ppg on offense!

Then why did you just bring up a bunch of stuff from the past?

The point was that LSU has been slowed down by a good defense and UGA will be the best defense they’ve played up until this point.

We have also shredded 2 defenses that are statistically better than Auburn.

Only way I am attending the bama bowl game is if someone buys me tickets and gives me a place to stay. I can't afford that.

OTOH, I'll probably attend the Birmingham bowl if the weather is nice, since I live here and all.

Why anyone bothers responding to you is amazing.

Do you even regulation + 7OT bro?

Oh so now you think it's ridiculous to ignore the circumstances of a game when using the stats from that game? Pretty sure that was part of his point, buddy.

I said the past has no bearing on the success or failure of the current UGA team. Proving someone wrong that said championship winning teams have never lost to unranked opponents isn’t predicting the past to affect anything.

You’re crossing seasons now.

Our D stopped OU when it mattered... You will get your yards, but we will be the best defense you will see as well.

Read the post he's replying to there, and follow the chain backwards. It will all make sense.

lol I’m using their logic to highlight the bias of their argument. Any rational person knows you can’t use 2 games from 2 separate years to show a trend.

That might depend on whether they make the playoff. OSU might be better. Clemson might be as good.

They'll be tested this wknd vs Aggy. Kellen Mond is better than any quarterback they've seen so far, even Ian Book.

This can NOT be stated enough. Some people can ride UGAs Defenses collective dick all they want, but the fact is their D has faced NOfrickingBODY.

Maybe they stuff LSU, I don't know since I can't see the future, but that doesn't change the fact that UP TO THIS POINT they havn't stuffed any good offenses.

Sorry if this makes UGA fans butthurt. Deal with it.

The best defense LSU played held them to 23 points. UGA's anemic offense managed 21 on the same defense while playing at Jordan Hare.

Excellent point.

Horrible point. The difference between games was one was played after 2.5 days of straight rain including the morning of the game, while the other was dry. Field conditions were sloppy with people slipping. LSU probably have scord in the mid 30's at least if it was dry. Of course they probably would have given up a few pore points as well, but that's not the point.

Comparing AU transitive is like comparing apples to steak
