Said that he does NOT believe lane is a serious candidate. Leach has multiple people reaching out for him. That was pretty much all of his update.

Leach has multiple people reaching out to him.....as in multiple schools? Or multiple people associated with Arkansas......
God I hope we get Leach. Wants the job, some SEC experience (granted it was long ago), lots of recruiting ties (Texas, West coast, etc) and a wide open exciting offense that could be utilized with our current players.

All in all this search so far seems to be setting up to be underwhelming.

Hearing it from Biddy makes me think it's inevitable we will hire Kiffin. I think a person could make money gambling the exact opposite of all of Biddy's predictions.

IMHO, everything we hear now is either someone trying to get a scoop, faking having real knowledge, or deliberate misinformation.

If something is "definitive" right now that means that probably the exact opposite is really true.
I just think there are so many smoke screens and such in these searches.
My heads spinning. Some "source" guy over on Tardville said today that Leach IS NOT a candidate at all and that HY has no interest in him.
I feel like many of these media guys get used as well to put out misinformation. I do believe Irwin though when it comes to Leach. He seems to have a legit contact with his people.
I'd be fine with the Pirate. He'd bring fun and some wins and some attention.
If Lane is truly out, that disappoints me as well. It seems he is really the only guy most of the fanbase are all really on board with. His recruiting and potential are huge.

I don't trust Biddy's word at all. It's weird when you actually know people who know stuff and they routinely say the opposite of the Arkansas sports media.
Lane is probably number 3 or 4 on my wish list, but talks with him have been serious. He's very much a possibility, bookmark this post if you have to.
