I hope the players see all the "the Tide has turned in the SEC" nonsense from the pundits

Nearly every news site I've seen over the last two days has written our beloved Crimson Tide off after a single loss to a very good football team. A self inflicted loss, I might add (with most intended respect to the Tigers).

I got some news for the talking heads in the media, Alabama football ain't going no fricking where and it damn sure isn't going to be replaced as a dynasty by Ed fricking Orgeron. After Burrow gets picked #1 by the Dolphins next year, LSU goes back to being an 8-4/9-3 team. They no longer have an elite defense.

I hope the players are seeing all this nonsense and use it as a rallying point to fix the stupid shite that cost us that game.

Correct.
Maybe the Sugar bowl with an Iron Bowl win or a Capital one Bowl with an Iron Bowl loss.

The only reason I don’t buy that is because I need to see what LSU looks like at QB next year and who Orgeron hires when Brady gets pulled away.

This season for them has all the stars aligning. I don’t take it as some shift in conference hierarchy beyond this season.

Yea, and we were "turning back into Alabama again" after the Clemson game too. Instead we average the most penalties I can remember an Alabama team averaging since the Shula era.

We're a good team. We're not a great team. It is what it is.

None of the people/pundits I'm paying attention to are saying this. Most people admit Bama is still one of the best teams in the country, but does have defensive issues and doesn't have a great strength of schedule. I've heard no respectable person write off Alabama.

It's not just the pundits unfortunately. Other teams think and expect to beat Alabama now. There is blood in the water.

They have been proclaiming the Bama run "over" pretty much every single loss since 2012.

Every single loss the same narrative comes up.

It's wishful thinking.

The last people to see reality are the fans. The indicators of decline are there, and they are real. Everyone see's it but most of us...

LSU talked all week. The media talked all week. LSU came into OUR HOUSE and guess what happened......they took our SEC title away. This defense is soft and the worst of the Saban era. If all that talking from LSU and the media didn’t fire them up, nothing will
