Looking at us and LSU, let's be honest. There's not a ton of difference between 4.32 yards per play and 5.01. And they've definitely faced a better offense than anything we've seen.

These stats just don't mean a lot. We'll know who we are soon enough, though.

I would say that 15% more is a lot. From an LSU standpoint, Bama made 3-4 major mistakes all in the first half or that game would have a very different narrative. With an offense that solid, you ca't give them extra chances.

First things first, I do hope Cager is ready for AU and we show up relentless on D.

Not you per se, but why do stats only mean little when they don't back up someone's narrative? Another poster was saying the offensive stats meant very little and Mizzou was going to shut us down.
